AI that helps
across your practice.
Meet Jacqueline, the AI agent built into Expedite RCM. Ask in plain language, the way you would ask a colleague. Jacqueline reads your scanned paper, from demographic sheets to superbills and EOBs, and enters what it reads for you to check. It answers questions about your practice, works denial cases with you, writes the letter, builds the spreadsheet, finds the report and shows you how to do the task in front of you.
One agent, many jobs
Everything below is part of the application. There is nothing extra to install or connect.
Answer questions about your practice
Totals for open charges, billed amounts, adjustments, insurance payments and patient payments, for one payer or all of them, over the days you choose.
Work denial cases with you
List your queue, the cases with a deadline coming up, the high-dollar cases or the ones to appeal. Open a case to see its details, notes and denied charges.
Update a case when you say so
Add a note, set a follow-up date, mark a case appealed, take it or close it. It tells you the exact change and waits for your yes.
Write the letter
Appeal letters, collection letters, letters of medical necessity, memos and summaries, delivered as Word documents you can edit.
Build the spreadsheet
Any list it has looked up becomes an Excel workbook, with a header row, filters on every column, and real dates and numbers.
Find the report
Describe what you want to see. It names the report or billing screen and gives you a link that opens it, ready for you to run.
Show you how
Step-by-step help for any task in the application, from posting an insurance payment to rebilling a claim.
Explain codes and denial reasons
Ask what a procedure code or a denial reason code means, and what usually resolves it.
Read a payer policy page
Paste the address of a public web page, such as a payer's policy, and ask about what it says.
The kind of thing you can type
These are examples. Ask in your own words, and ask follow-up questions in the same conversation.
- How much did we bill last month, and how much has insurance paid?
- How many open charges do we have with Blue Cross?
- Show my denial queue, most urgent first.
- Which cases have an appeal deadline coming up?
- Add a note to this case and set the follow-up for next Friday.
- Draft an appeal letter for this denial.
- Write a collection letter for an overdue balance.
- Put that list in Excel.
- Which report shows aged receivables by provider?
- How do I post an insurance payment?
- What does denial reason CO-97 mean?
- Here is the payer's policy page. What does it require for this procedure?
It helps. You decide.
- It asks before it changes anything, and tells you the exact change first
- Every change it makes to a denial case is recorded on the case as a note
- It follows the same permissions you have on the screens
- Letters and spreadsheets come to you as drafts to review before they go anywhere
- When an answer is wrong you can say so, and the correction is kept for review
AI-generated answers can be wrong. Review and verify them before you act on them.
Private by default
- Patient-identifying information is kept out of AI requests unless your practice chooses to allow it
- Your conversations are private to you
- Access is a privilege your administrator grants, person by person
AI that reads your paper
Jacqueline reads paper as well as questions. You upload a document on the screen where the work is done, and what was read is shown there for you to check.
- Import from Document: upload the demographic sheets you received, and AI fills in Patient Demographics for a new patient or a saved one, and lists what was replaced
- Superbill from Scan: upload scanned paper superbills, and AI reads the procedure and diagnosis codes the provider circled or checked by hand, and the visit date
- EOB from Scan: upload a scanned paper EOB, and AI reads the payer, the check and what was paid and adjusted on each charge, so the insurance payment is created for you to post
AI reads. You check.
- What was read is shown beside the document; anything the reading was not sure of is flagged for you to decide
- Nothing is saved, sent to the Charge Queue or posted until a person has checked it
- These documents carry the patient's name, so they are read only when your practice has allowed its AI service to work with patient data
